Bankside Farm is an 18th century Grade II listed farmstead set on Ditchling Common. Set in the heart of rural Sussex but only 1hr from London and 20 minutes from Brighton, we are perfectly situated for easy access to M23 (10 mins), Wivelsfield Station (10 mins bike ride/20 min walk for the keen!) and Gatwick airport 25mins.
How to find us
Bankside Farm is situated on the B2112 mid way between Janes Lane and The Royal Oak (now tragically closed!) and is clearly signposted on the main road. There is parking to the rear of the premises.
The nearest mainline station with 24hr taxi service is Haywards Heath approx. 10-12 minutes drive. The local station is Wivelsfield and London mainline trains to Brighton do stop here. It is possible – and often our students do – to both walk or cycle (locking cycle racks at station). It is roughly a 20min journey along a partly unlit road so better attempted during the summer months!
